Wool Fabric Flowers and Purses

The flowers shown on this page have been made from 100% wool fabric. Some of the fabrics used were cut from wool coating and others were cut from 100% wool suiting fabric, which was felted in the washing machine. Any fabric can be used to make these flowers, as long as you either felt it or bond it with a fusible web to prevent it from raveling.

Some of the flowers have needle felted centers done with either 100% wool roving or 100% wool yarn. It adds another texture to make the flowers more interesting. Felting needles and wool roving are available on this site.

Each flower pattern has several templates included, so you can create a very small flower for accessories such as jewelry, or larger flowers to be worn on clothing, hats and purses. The possibilities are endless!

The Little Wool Clutch is the first in a new series of small bags that will be offered. This has been made from wool fabric, stitched with yarn and has a felted, knit flower with wool leaves embellishing the front. No sewing machine required.
